My mission statement: I want to provide a website that advises, comforts, and educates, those individuals that have an adult lung disease, or have intimate knowledge of someone that does; For all of you to realize the TRUTH about lung disease, in whatever form, that there IS a word called "HOPE" and to have an intelligent dialog, that speaks to each individuals need! I want all, that come to this site, to feel comfortable in speaking their truth, and in this, to FIND the truth that is there for all of you that WANT it! I want this for all that find my site (if you have a friend or relative that has a lung disease, please have them come to my site)! I will be here for you, as my time allows. I want all to know that any and all guestbook entrees, e-mails, forum inputs, links, et al, WILL be acknowledged by ME, personally! This is my dedication to all of you who have lung disease. I AM a patient advocate, and have been for some time, and I can't see myself changing now! The glaring problem that I have, is that I do this site, TOTALLY on my own. This means, on my own time, away from my family and work and it takes a bit of work to try to establish a credible site. I must admit, since I started in the early 1990's and with a fond, loving mentor like Linda Jacobs,"ALINDA", to a lot of you, who showed me the way to engage the people that SO needed help and guidance in the world of adult lung disease, I have faltered in keeping this site at its peek, due to many selfish and unselfish reasons. I regret that. But I am back and am trying to rebuild this site to a new level. However, I can NOT do it myself without financial help from YOU! I have tried the commercial route, but that seems to be a big scam and simply, doing this day after day,totally on my own, answering SO many inquiries and trying to be there for so many people is wearing on ones soul. This site is currently under construction, again, due to some incredible and updated website changes from Freeservers. Know that I am working hard to get this site back up and better than ever. I plan to involve the site with more updated info on Obstructive Sleep Apnea and the research that is going on concerning the use of CPAP and BiPAP machines as well as any and all new concepts that cross my path or yours. Please try to keep in touch. I am NOT a scam artist, by any stretch of the imagination. I am truly a patient advocate in every way and will try to give you all the proper guidance as I have in the past. Just bare with me as I try to reassemble the "Phoenix" from the ashes.
