Robert Penhallow,RCP, CRT, BS

MY INTERESTS: I like to hike, play tennis (a lot), run, racquetball, swim, used to scuba dive and hope to again. I play guitar for relaxation and write some poetry. I also like to research medical disorders related to the lungs, and obviously, I love to continually create and construct my website, so long as everyone enjoys what I am delivering. And of course, being a patient advocate is a passion in my life.

I am a licensed Respiratory Care Practitioner(RCP), by the state Respiratory Care Board of California. I am certified by the National Board of Respiratory Care. Our CA license stipulates what we can and can't do. It is a very valid qualification as to my experience as a practitioner; devoted to those people that have adult and adolescent, lung disease! I do practice respiratory care, in all respects, as a clinician, teacher and mentor, and currently work for a major healthcare company! I CAN not, WILL not, and DO not diagnose or prescribe medicine. But, I can give those people, that need it, and want it, ALL the information that I have at my disposal. We, as professional therapists, have, in most respects, the resource for cutting edge info, from those entities, that are bringing that info to the public! I have been a therapist for over 33 years now, teaching Pulmonary Rehabilitation, and working in home health. I have written or co-written manuals on Pulmonary Rehabilitation, Asthma Management and Smoke Cessation!

Professional:Whittier College, Psychology major; Boise State University, Art Major; Southwest College, Respiratory Therapy Sciences, Americus University, Gerontology, BS.
